Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. is a community-conscious, action-oriented organization dedicated to transforming the lives of others. Mu Lambda Zeta chapter was chartered September 12, 1983 in Jacksonville, North Carolina and has since been a strong force in Jacksonville and surrounding areas. Mu Lambda Zeta Chapter serves and uplifts the community by promoting SCHOLARSHIP, engaging in community SERVICE, demonstrating SISTERHOOD, and exemplifying FINER WOMANHOOD.

Zeta women have embraced scholarship by encouraging the highest standards in the achievement of academic excellence of our members and in the communities we serve. In addition to the numerous service projects and initiatives, Mu Lambda Zeta chapter sponsors three youth auxiliaries and one adult auxiliary for women. The auxiliaries give back in meaningful and impactful ways to the community.
